Advancing the interests of residents by influencing state and local policies

Collier Citizens Council (CCC) is a non-partisan group that follows local and state issues, analyzes them, adopts a position and then works to affect public policy through advocacy and education.

CCC sponsors community forums, often in conjunction with other civic organizations, to present candidates during election years and to present information on important community issues.

In 2018, CCC established the Murray Hendel Civic Achievement Award, which is given annually to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution for the betterment of life in Collier County.
